          SOUTH LUANGWA NATIONAL PARK

         Where to stay

There are many varied places to stay in the Valley ranging from luxurious safari camps to budget chalets and camping. Most of the lodges are spread along the east bank of the Luangwa River, in the adjoining Game Management Area, conducting game drives and walking safaris along the west bank, in the Park itself. Some of the Lodges have bush camps deep in the Park for remote walking safaris.

  • The Bush Camp Company  operates six intimate and exclusive bushcamps and a safari lodge, Mfuwe Lodge, in the South Luangwa National Park. The secluded, remote bushcamps offer traditional walking safaris and game drives and provide an unmatched wilderness experience and the up-market safari lodge is set in the most prolific game area of the park. With the warmest of hospitality, sumptuous meals and first-class guides, the bushcamps are the perfect gateway for individuals and small groups wishing to explore the spectacular wildlife of the South Luangwa.
