The town of Livingstone lies close to the famous Victoria Falls, making it the perfect base for exploring this natural wonder. It was once the capital of Northern Rhodesia before that title was passed onto Lusaka in 1935. Named after the famous Victorian missionary explorer, Dr David Livingstone, the town still retains much of its original charm and rustic merits.
