A huge area with very few lodges, Busanga Plains is a bucket-list destination for serious safari lovers, birders and wildlife photographers. Accommodation is down-to-earth and comfortable, with unfenced camps built on slightly higher ground to give incredible views over the never-ending floodplain.

Camps are still seasonal and only tend to open from about mid-year to November, over the dry season.
