Project Description
NTEMWA-BUSANGA CAMP
Some three-hour game drive to the north of Musekese Camp lies Ntemwa-Busanga Camp. A classic bush camp in a wilderness area all of it’s own on the southern edge of Busanga Plains. This simple but charming camp is perfectly sighted to make the most of the diverse Busanga Plains. Explore its multitude of habitats, from riverine thickets in the south, the tree-lined edges and the productive, flooded grasslands in the centre and the variety of wildlife that inhabit them. This camp is the photographers dream location and run in. away to maximise the opportunities for those interested in this pursuit.
Our small camp comprises of just 5 guest chalets accompanied by open-air en-suite bathrooms at the rear, with flushing toilets, running water basins and warm bucket showers. A newly extended and spacious raised deck overlooks the vast Busanga Plains, accompanied by a bar, tea/coffee station and comfortable furniture to recline in the heat of the day! An in-camp photographic hide is also available overlooking a productive water point, full of birds, antelope and the odd Serval!

In 2021 Phil Jeffery and Tyrone McKeith joined forces with Kyle Branch and Luke Evans at Tusk and Mane Safaris in the Lower Zambezi NP to create Classic Zambia Safaris – the aim being to offer back to nature wildlife experiences where the primary focus is on the wilderness itself. The hands-on approach to managing safaris is matched by a common desire to provide authentic experiences that rekindle a deep love and care for Africa’s wild places. As Zambia’s next generation of safari operators, we would like our guests to enjoy exceptional and unique safari experiences and be a part of the conservation solution for Zambia’s wildlife.
