Some three-hour game drive to the north of Musekese Camp lies Ntemwa-Busanga Camp. A rustic bush camp in a wilderness area on the southern edge of Busanga Plains. This simple but charming camp is perfectly sited to make the most of the diverse Busanga Plains. Explore its multitude of habitats, from riverine thickets in the south, the tree-lined edges and the productive, flooded grasslands in the centre and the variety of wildlife that inhabit them.
Our small camp consists of classic Zambian-thatched chalets which are accompanied by open-air en-suite bathrooms at the rear, with flushing toilets and warm bucket showers. There are two main areas, one a raised deck overlooking the vast Busanga Plains and another lower level shaded stretch-canvas area with comfortable furniture to recline in the heat of the day!
The wildlife of the Busanga Plains is as varied as it is numerous. Regional specials such as roan antelope and sable antelope are common sightings here. Along with thousands of red lechwe there is no shortage of game to view and photograph

Tyrone and Phil are long-time friends who founded Jeffery & McKeith Safaris in 2011. They first met at University years earlier where both were studying for degrees in Wildlife Conservation.
Today, Musekese & Ntemwa-Busanga camps are globally recognised for their quality safari experience and the incredible passion and extreme dedication of the operations promotion and conservation of the wildlife of the Kafue. The team continues to work hard to promote the not for profit ‘Musekese Conservation’ which Phil and Tyrone created in 2017.
In 2021 Jeffery & McKeith Safaris joined forces with the team at Tusk and Mane Safaris in the Lower Zambezi NP to create Classic Zambia Safaris – the aim being to offer back to nature wildlife experiences where the primary focus is on the wilderness itself. Our hands-on approach to managing safaris is matched by our common desire to provide authentic experiences that rekindle a deep love and care for Africa’s wild places. As Zambia’s next generation of safari operators, we would like our guests to enjoy exceptional and unique safari experiences and be a part of the conservation solution for Zambia’s wildlife.
