Our three self-catering cottages (2 x double en-suite and 1 x triple en-suite) offer fully equipped kitchens, a dining area and lounge with DSTV and WiFi. All bedrooms have their own modern en-suite. The cottages are available from a single night’s stay to long term rental (+30 days at a reduced rate).

Additionally, we offer five rooms with private en-suite in the main lodge. All rooms have airconditioning, mosquito nets, mosquito room and body spray, DSTV (satellite tv), free WiFi, a writing desk/work station, a minibar, tea & coffee station, a combination safe, hairdryer and complimentary toiletries. Our backup generator ensures guests have electricity (including airconditioning) during power outages.

Guests can enjoy a complimentary English breakfast daily with a dinner option* for guests that require it. Our (fenced) outdoor pool, sauna and gym offer guests a chance to relax and unwind after a long day. We offer a fully stocked, guests only, bar.

*Halaal and special diets can be catered for on request. Children 5 and under stay and eat free when sharing accommodation.

Lowden Lodge offers guests a chance to experience the tranquillity and beauty of Zambia’s natural Miombo woodlands. Set on 65 acres, much of it untouched ‘bush’, guests can enjoy walks along the forest paths with many local bird species calling Lowden home. There’s also the chance of spotting hares and duiker (small deer) that are indigenous to the area.

Lowden Lodge opened in 1994 and has since provided guests visiting Zambia’s Copperbelt with unrivalled hospitality. As a family-owned and run guest house, Lowden Lodge prides itself on its personality, hospitality and attention to detail.
