KASONSO BUSANGA

Kasonoso Busanga Camp operates during the dry months, when the Busanga Plains are at their most accessible and wildlife concentrations are at their peak. The camp is situated close to the Busanga Airstrip, and is designed in a classic safari style, prioritising comfort, simplicity, and a strong connection to the surrounding landscape where some of the biggest lions of Zambia can be found.

Accommodation consists of comfortable, thatched chalets, positioned to overlook the floodplains. Each chalet is furnished with twin or double beds, thoughtful touches that reflect traditional safari aesthetics, and are completed with en-suite bathrooms.

Private verandas offer uninterrupted views across the plains, making them ideal for early-morning coffee or quiet afternoons watching wildlife. The open nature of the camp allows guests to feel immersed in the vastness of the Busanga ecosystem, with regular sightings of lechwe, buffalo, lion, cheetah, and a wide variety of birdlife.

The communal areas include a relaxed lounge and dining area, as well as a firepit. Meals are freshly prepared and enjoyed either in the dining area or outdoors, depending on weather and preference.
