KANTUNTA LODGE

The lodge has four tented chalets with en-suite bathrooms, each overlooking the Kafue River, accommodating up to eight people. Offering full board or self-catering.

It has a large Nkuta overlooking one of the prettiest parts of the Kafue river with lots of Islands, rocky outcrops, rapids and crystal clear water. We have two small boats with drivers/guides for fishing, bird watching and sundowners. Our GMA has a wide variety of game and the drive-in is great for game viewing.

The perfect destination for the adventurer, photographer, bird watcher, fisherman and for those who just want to relax and unwind whilst soaking in the beauty of the African bush.

ABOUT THE COMPANY

Kantunta lodge was built in 2015. The Lodge was built using mostly local materials and local labour. It is owner run. It employs 15 staff from the nearby villages. The owners of Kantunta Lodge are very involved with the local community and have assisted in various projects.

Not only have we paid for the building of a teachers house for the local school we also pay the salary of one of the Teachers. In 2015 we assisted with ploughing of lands and repairs to the solar borehole pump
