Bilimungwe is all about wood, from the huge mahogany tree that forms the centrepiece of the central lounge and dining area, to the exquisitely carved, and all locally-made, bowls, basins, and shelves you’ll find in the lounge and the chalets.

Each of Bilimungwe’s four chalets overlooks a waterhole, and the birds and animals in and around camp never fail to delight guests. You’ll be tempted to forgo game drives just to sit on your veranda to see what comes to visit!

The stunning stardeck overlooking the Bilimungwe plain provides the chance to enjoy the gorgeous South Luangwa Sky. We offer both walking safaris and game drives each morning, and an afternoon/evening game drive.
