Calling all East Africans: it’s time to catch a flight to Zambia!

From 27 June 2024, Zambia Airways will operate three flights a week from Lusaka to Dar es Salaam in Tanzania and Nairobi in Kenya. Dar es Salaam is the coastal gateway to prime conservation areas in southern Tanzania such as Ruaha, Selous and Nyerere as well as the island of Zanzibar. Nairobi, the Kenyan capital, is the hub for reaching the Masai Mara, Amboseli and other national parks.

This new regional routing connects Zambia to even more destinations, allowing travellers more options of arriving in Lusaka and then connecting to other areas in the country.

New Timetable for East Africa

Zambia Airways has confirmed that the schedule is as follows:

Tuesdays and Thursdays

Lusaka – Dar es Salaam – Nairobi – Lusaka

Saturdays

The flights will use Kenneth Kaunda International in Lusaka, Julius Nyerere International in Dar es Salaam and Jomo Kenyatta International in Nairobi.
