In the far south of Zambia, we treasure one of the world’s most unique natural wonders where the Great Rift Valley cuts through the earth. It is here that the Zambezi River plunges 100 metres into a narrow gorge creating the ‘Mosi-oa-Tunya’ or ‘the smoke that thunders’. If you could reach out and touch the soul of Africa, Victoria Falls is that place.

Perched on a hill overlooking the spectacular Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park sits Stanley Safari Lodge. It is a dream destination for anybody wanting to experience Livingstone in luxury. We could go on and on boasting about this place but instead we’ll let our guests do that for us. Here are some of our guests’ feedback from our Guest Book…

Laurent recently visited us from Belgium and says that he thinks Stanley Safari Lodge is the best lodge he’s “experienced in Africa”:

“What a great Lodge! I’ve been travelling through Africa for 5 years now and it’s probably the best one I’ve ever seen. The service is just perfect – everybody is so friendly. The view is
so great – extracted from “Out of Africa” movie. Food is excellent. So quiet. Suites are great! Thanks for all. I’ll be back!”

“I’ll be back” is something that we hear a lot at Stanley Safari Lodge. It seems guests just can’t enough of us! Jo-C Gatson from Malawi is a prime example of one of our returning guests. She visited us in March this year forthe second time and had this to say about it:

Our team works tirelessly to make sure that every guests’ needs are fulfilled and we pride ourselves on providing excellent service and food at all times. It is therefore really rewarding when we get comments like this one from Paul and Gwen who visited us from Western Australia:

Sundowners certainly are a favourite with guests as the distant smoke clouds rising from the falls can be seen from the lodge’s pool. This makes for a very romantic evening and so it’s no surprise that Stanley Safari Lodge is also a favourite among newlyweds! Ana and Sergio spent their honeymoon with us in March and can testify to the romance of the lodge:
