ABOUT THE ACCOMMODATION

All accommodation features views across the Zambezi River or the Old Mondoro Lagoon, king-size bed (or 2 x singles on request), en suite loo, washbasin, electric fan, 220v with multinational plugs, outdoor “splash tub” (a place to cool off in, in the heat, or to soak away your troubles under hot bubbles, but expect an inquisitive elephant or two to come take a peek), and an outdoor shower.

Old Mondoro, established in 2002, is the sister property of the world-renowned Chiawa Camp which was the pioneer safari operation in the Lower Zambezi National Park. Owned and operated by the Cumings family, 3 generations of professional guides, Old Mondoro not only has a strong guiding history but also a conservation pedigree that is unmatched in the Lower Zambezi having initiated various conservation projects and being founder members of Conservation Lower Zambezi.
