NORTH LUANGWA RIVER LODGE & CAMP
The lodge has Four chalets right on the Luangwa River Bank set in a grove of Ancient Leadwood trees, at the confluence of the Luangwa and Lutaba River.
The setting is stunning, overlooking a vast expanse of the Luangwa River, where Elephant drink daily and wildlife abound. It is constructed of natural locally sourced materials with the chalets all having en-suite shower and bathroom. The camp offers accommodation meals drinks, Game Drives and Walking Safaris.
The park has reintroduced black rhino and has a successful conservation program so there is always the chance of spotting this rare animal, also large herds of buffalo and zebra as well as the endemic Cookson’s wildebeest, wild dog, Lion and spotted hyaenas that are often encountered close to Camp. In addition, we have facilities for Self-drive, Self Catering. Located in the North Luangwa National Park, the camp is a 45-minute flight from Mfuwe Airport or can be reached by road transfer or self-drive.
ABOUT THE COMPANY
North Luangwa River Lodge is owned and operated by Brett May and a wonderful team of experienced staff, chefs and guides who have over 30 years’ experience of working, living and guiding in the Lower Zambezi and Luangwa Valleys. The Lodge was established in 2004 on the Banks of the Luangwa River inside the North Luangwa National Park.
