Mwamba Bush Camp
Set amongst giant ebony trees, Mwamba Bush Camp, is an intimate camp operated by Derek and Jules Shenton. Along with their sister camp Kaingo, offer an authentic experience of the bush.
Mwamba has four reed and thatch chalets with a balance between simplicity, essential comforts, and African style. Chalets have large skylights and showers open to the stars.
Experiencing Kaingo Camp and then transferring to Mwamba Bush Camp, allows one to enjoy the unique characters of both camps while maintaining five star service and continuity.
Additionally Shenton Safaris has access to a network of photographic hides with opportunities for getting close-up to hippos, elephants and other wildlife. One of the hides is within Mwamba Bush Camp, at a busy waterhole.
Visits to these hides happen three times a day and other game viewing activities either driving or walking are offered by the camps.
